Following are few examples: U - you M - am r8 - right All these things matters when you are appearing for the any English test. Also enroll in a small training course for IELTS. Other than English you also need to practice the tests because you need to familiarise yo

Australian Slang - Words which are part of local English in Australia

Today I got some time free so let us use it for something useful. Australian slang is something very free, people who speak British English they might find it a bit odd but once you mater it, its gold J. I will not get into too many words that gets used here in Australia only as part of local slang but I will try to put together a few which I mostly come across. Few I learnt hard way J First word that comes to my mind is MATE (spoken as mite or might), mostly used with “Gidday mate” (Good day mate) OZ – Australia (Pronounced as Ouztaralia) Ta – Thank you Slab – Box of beer (usually 24 bottles or cans). Bugger – Damn Ciggie – Cigarette Smoko – Cigarette Chook – Chicken Arvo – Afternoon Bludger (or dole bludger) – A very lazy person who do not go for work. Goon bag – Bag of wine (actually bag is inside a box ) Undies – Underwear Buzz – Phone call (I think I heard in other countries too) Tassie – Tasmania (mostly used while referencing people/things from Tasmania) Aggr

Would Tata Sky work in Australia ?

So far (at least when I am writing this) to my understaning TataSky could not work in Australia. How do I know ? Its actually pretty simple with the help of few web sites from the same provider. Step 1 : Find out the provider in our case its Tata Sky Step 2: Find out which satellites it use? http://www.lyngsat-address.com/tt/Tata-Sky.html http://www.lyngsat.com/Insat-4A.html Step 3: Now we know that Tata Sky uses Insat 4A for its transmission. Its time to find out footprints of this sattalite. Use the following link: http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/in4a_ecc.html Step 4: In the footprints screen we could see that this particular satalite does not have footprints on Australia so we could not watch TataSky, UNLESS in future Tata Sky also broadcast on another satalite which has footprints in Australia (expecially the region you are in)

I followed Cricket for all those years and still now and then I watch it if there is a good match. Even in India, Australia team gets a lot of praise for their achievements in Cricket. That is the reason why Australian players get to work on advertisements and other stuff to be broadcasted on Indian channels. India has been a great competitor in Cricket in past and even still it’s the case. I have sympathy for other games which have been tarnished and loose their popularity because of dominance of Cricket. I really wish Indian selectors do a good job while selecting players, if players are not doing the job put them away and give new talent a change. To my understanding Indian team players spend more time on advertisement as compared to what
